Jomarie Martínez has a degree in Sports Science and is certified as a personal trainer, a profession she pursues with great enthusiasm.

She is a sports lover. At the age of 5 she started playing basketball and at 9 she started playing her favorite team sport, softball.

At age 14 she became part of the Puerto Rico Superior Softball League and still belongs to that league today. She is the first Puerto Rican to play in the Superior Softball League in Spain. She played there in 2017.

Jomarie's mother and grandmother are big fans of Exatlón Estados Unidos, and she wants to win the competition to help her mother with fibromyalgia treatments
